This photo was taken outside Bldg 627, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri (Lost in the Woods, Misery, we called it (when we thought the Drill Sergeant wasn't in earshot (we thought wrong. . .)) It was taken on the last day of Basic Training (August 1, 1995), when everyone was packed and moving out.

This picture was taken in September of 1994, and is somewhat similar to the one that ended up in my yearbook. You will notice that, sometime after this photo was taken, and before the first photo, I managed to lose a lot of hair. I would like to thank Ed, the barber at Fort Leonard Wood Reception Station, for doing the honors.
